The British Sarcoma Group Grant scheme aims to support professional development and collaboration among healthcare professionals working in sarcoma care.

Purpose of the grant scheme

The BSG grant scheme is designed to provide funding for visits to other sarcoma centres, within the UK or internationally, to:

  • Enhance clinical knowledge and practical skills in sarcoma management.
  • Observe and share best practices in multidisciplinary care or service delivery.
  • Foster collaboration and exchange of ideas between sarcoma units.
  • Support educational visits focused on the setup or improvement of sarcoma services.

 

Who can apply? 

To apply, you must:

  • Be a current member of the British Sarcoma Group (BSG) 
  • Be a clinician, surgeon, oncologist, pathologist, radiologist, CNS or allied health professional involved in sarcoma management.
  • Use the grant for educational or observational visits to another sarcoma centre (UK or overseas).
  • Have the support of your clinical supervisor, line manager, or department head
  • Applicants may only apply for one grant per year

Once you have read the guidance notes complete the application form below. Applications will open on 25th February 2026 and close on the 30th June 2026.
