Sarcoma UK Recognition of Clinical Excellence Award 2026 – Nominations Open!

Sarcoma UK is inviting nominations for its Recognition of Clinical Excellence Award 2026, celebrating healthcare professionals who care for people affected by sarcoma and who strive to deliver best practice and the highest standards of care.

This award is for that colleague who has looked at things differently and made a real change, or who quietly and consistently pushes to improve patient care. It is open to anyone within the sarcoma multidisciplinary team, including colleagues in local services and specialist centres.

You might think of:

• An MDT co‑ordinator whose way of organising meetings and information makes life easier for the whole team and improves the patient pathway.
• A nurse who has developed and run a clinic or follow‑up model that has clearly improved patient experience or outcomes.
• A surgeon who is exploring innovative approaches to supporting informed consent, ensuring that patients truly understand their options.
• Or any other member of the MDT whose commitment, creativity and collaboration have had a positive impact on people living with sarcoma.
